Next time you visit Scottsdale, you may want to experience the 'Sugar Bowl'. 

 

This ice cream destination has been in business since 1959.

​​​​​​​​​​Another recommendation is to take in a play at Gammage Auditorium on the Tempe campus of Arizona State University.  This venue is typically the first stop on touring companies on their way East.  Interestingly, the famous architect Frank Lloyd Wright did not design it for Tempe, AZ.  For this interesting story tap here

Tucson has retained much of its western and Spanish heritage.​

However, earlier there was pressure to make Tucson 'American'., not Spanish.
